Hi there !

In the knee joints, just like in any other joints, there is a fluid called as synovial fluid, which provides lubrication during movement of the joint. (just like fluid used in machines)
Over a period of years, due to ageing as well as misuse, fluid becomes lesser and lesser......hece there could be some sound as well as in later stage, some pain too..!

I think...you need to have some sort of exercise....like walking or physiotherapy....contact a specialist !

best wishes..!

All i can assist you comprehend is that 24 is an exceptionally unusual age. I had lot's of wierd stuff take place to my physique at that age additionally. The popping knees develop into one in each of them, however the others you suggested i did no longer have. i could even have exteme sweating for no obvious reason and my ft and hands swelled up all of a sudden. i did no longer pass to a doctor the two and the indicators in basic terms looked as though it could pass after a pair months. weird and wonderful huh?

I had something similar. After years of kneeling they used to sound like velcro being ripped appart on going upstairs but as you say no pain other than the usual aches form the kneeling.

I gave up the kneeling but it continued so I went to the doctors and he sent me for an Xray but nothing showed and shortly after it stopped and I have had no more problems with my knees.

This is called 'crepitus'. It indicates that some of the bones are shifting as you move. If there is no pain you are fine. When you get older there may be pain indicating arthritis.

Look up crepitus on the web.

Good luck

it is small air bubbles trapped in the knee joint and usually gets worse when the air pressure is low. It is nothing to worry about, cod liver oil tablets can lessen it.

It might be worth getting a bone densitometry scan to be on the safe side if you are worried, as it could be the first sign of osteo porosis

Crepitus gets my vote. Physical therapy and building strength in the muscles involved with the knee may help.

HAve you ever injured your knee?

I get it in my ankles, hips, wrists, neck, lower back, and shoulders but have hypermobility, it could be this but it is unlikely as you'd normally hurt too if it was, but check out http://www.hypermobility.org/ to see if it's likely you have something like that. It's nothing serious but may lead to some discomfort (or hideous pain) later on if you don't get something sorted asap.

See a chiropractor. You may be out of alignment.
