Nope, that's just a bunch of superstition. These are different players altogether and the Twins don't have a reasonable starter for Game 3. I say the Twins get swept. It'd be a good thing too because we want the team that plays the Yankees in the ALCS to be fresh so they can give the Spankees the beating they deserve

Well they certainly are a different team this year and have the two game lead which they got on the road so the next two games will be the deciding one and they will advance to play the Yankees in the ALC serie. The Twins can start packing for the early out of the playoff cause it looks like game - time for the A's.

I just cannot picturing Brad Radke, with his shoulder still ailing him, getting a win against the A's in Oakland. Haren, btw, has a career 2.50 ERA against the Twins in 5 starts.
At first I really questioned why they wouldn't throw Haren in game two and Loiaza game three. Haren went 8 innings with 0 ER in his last start IN Minnesota, whereas Loaiza is 7-3 at home this year. Seems like they should've switched their starts.
I hope Macha knows what he's doing.

The A's should win it. I think they just want to finish it off this time. Personally, Im really rooting for the A's to win the world series. Too bad they wont be able to keep Zito in the offseason. Wish they could get an owner that would give Beane some cash to work with.

No,N o,No,No,No!!
The problem with the a's is that in the past they didnt have a good offence so if they lost the lead or were tied they couldent come back.now with frank thomas, milton bradly, nick swisher, corey kotskey, and erik chaves they can come back in games if they need to.Plus dan "the man" harden is pitching in game 3, so expect a win for the a's and for them to meet the yanks down the road.In witch they will probably lose because the yankes pitching is as good as the a's but there offence is loaded so the a's dont got a shot.

Ummm Not really. Think about it. Next Game is Haren vs Radke most likly. (in Oakland) Maybe Radke turns to form and of course the next day (in Oakland) they will put up Santana vs Harden. Okay Santana wins 2-2 Now they have Bonser (rookie) vs Zito (cy young winner) I am likeing the chances the A's have in winning on game 3 or winning at game 5.

The A's have this series, considering how grat the big hurts been playing lately and what the A's were able to do to Johan Santana, the best pitcher out there.
