Not really. In fact, the stock market historically has performed much better under Democrats than under Republicans.

Stocks don't care about politics. If you are buying stocks in your 401K, you are buying stocks regardless on what's happening. Also the fouth quarter and the begining of the first quarter have historically been where the stocks have risen. That's why there is a saying, "Sell in May and walk away."
