you could always be an international playboy too, might help you with songwriting!!
Do people come to watch you play? do they enjoy it? then thats a good enough reason

Possibly in order to blow your own trumpet!
Your question is contradictory. Why wish to be a Banker when you could just as well have been a grafting labourer, or, instead of being an International Playboy you could have been an Astronaut and make several visits to the Moon. . . . or where ever your dreams may take you.

The grass is always greener!

Your time will come just as others will go. Bankers have had a torrid time over the years, closing of high street managers and counter staff have been cut as banks have closed. Only those that have been a cut above the rest have survived.

So work harder at your music and presentation - you will get their.

Good luck

sounds like you regret it .All jobs and professions go through a time of why this job.I have Seville times and what i did was to do other things and not just centre your hole life on the one thing .just simple things like go for a walk in the park read a book on your own .take up drawing or painting.just to change and get away from it all for a few hours a week .Then you will reliese that being who you are dosnt have to be stessfull and you can injoy being who you are .
take care and good luck

Passion and talent for your subject? Join a band in your spare time made up of other professionals and make a record - got to be better than flogging 'round the place looking for gigs...?

Should ever the truth be known!
You thought by becoming a muso, you'd find an easy outlet to score with the chicks.
Hard work isn't it, being a muso?

If you don't enjoy it stop - nobody if forcing you. If you like to do it stop complaining and play some damn tunes - play the blues until you are rid of some stress and then try again.

Sorry mate, but if you're striving for work THAT much, I wonder just how good you are at whatever it is you play.
