People farting and not sying "excuse me" sex on TV. "obscene" humor etc. Is America's culture dying?

Afraid so. The drawback to 'shock culture' is that it has to constantly out-do itself. What is shocking and obsene now will be common place in a few years, and they will have to come up with something even MORE shocking to keep your attention.

All those you mentioned are BAD MANNERS, Having No Class, Being undignified---Sex on TV is simply a product of permissive society but we still have the choice to switch channels or e-mail or write letters of protest-not enough of that is occurring-if you don't like it say so. It seems like obscenity is all of a sudden in and again if its too offensive I walk out or switch to something else.Hopefully this is a culture phase and it'll gradually phase out

I get upset with the example it sets for my 3 boys. I have a thing about manners.....so I get quite disgusted frequently!
