Did they wear heavy eyeliner? Bright eye shadow? I can't seem to find any pictures.

Baby blue eyeshadow, matte with HEAVY black eyeliner & false lashes. Heavy pancake makeup and white frost or beige frosted lipstick with matte foundation underneath. it was a high drama and high hair era.
Gogo's were in the 60's. In the 70's we were hippies and wore long, natural hair & no bras or makeup. We shunned the high style of the 60's as our Mom's had caught onto it by then. Very un-hip to be like Mom.

Mascara , liquid liner, blush and lip balm. I don't think she is using foundation but maybe tinted moisturizer.
