The rules for me are confusing. i need made up ones. i already made some up.

These are what I can remember of the rules from the last time I played Risk, and they're a lot of fun once you get used to them. These rules allow for many treaties and alliances to be made and then broken.

Deal out all country cards evenly to all players. Those are your starting countries. After that, don't use the cards at all. You are allowed so many troops (I can't remember how many, use your best judgement) to divide amongst your countries.

On your turn, you first receive replacement troops and then can attack other countries if you so choose. You can attack as many times as you want, or not at all.

To determine the number of replacement troops you receive at the start of each turn, take your total number of countries and divide by three, but don't round up. For instance, if you have 8 countries, divide 8/3= 2 2/3 - you get 2 extra troops. If you possess an entire continent, there is a designated number of troops that you can also receive, and I think it's listed somewhere on the board.

To attack, you must have at least 2 pieces on a country, because there must always be 1 piece left on your country after all attacks are over. You may attack with up to 3 pieces at a time, and your attack must be on a country adjacent to yours. To attack, roll as many dice as pieces you are attacking with (if you attack with 3 pieces, roll 3 dice). The defending player then defends with as many pieces as they want to risk and rolls that many dice. They don't have to defend with as many pieces as you attack with, but they will have a lesser chance of winning the battle. They also get to look at the attacking player's dice before they decide how many to roll. There is a complex way of scoring the dice rolls, but I can't remember it. Do the best you can.

I don't reccommmend Risk 2210 A.D. however. Although some people really enjoy the game, I found the game ending after six rounds rule arbitrary.
