ah yes, revenge is bitter sweet, but you should just take what you learned from being in a relationship like that, be the bigger person and walk away from it and move on with your life. it takes more for someone to walk away from a situation than it does to get even. it took me a long time to realize that, but at the end of the day it's the truth, and if he put you in the hospital twice you should go to the authorities.

Revenge is messy business. Unless you have the resources of a rich person that can haras him within legal boundries, you haven't a chance.
Your best course is to cut-off people that you and your ex develpoed friends with and to change yourlife style to a more healthy and spiritualy sound life. Stay silent and move in different circles that will help you advance your life and career.
Take it from me-few people make it out alive, much less in one peice when they revenge.
Like I said before, if you do it, your resources have to be top notch and with people who you KNOW, will give you absolute trust.
Trust me.
DON'T

Don't do anything. The best thing to do is turn your back on him and never give him any attention. That will hurt him the most. If you do something it may feel good that second but it will only hurt you in the end. Don't give him the satisfaction!
I'm sorry he hurt you, but move on and great things will come your way. Just believe and have faith!

The best revenge is living a happy, exciting, interest life-- and ignoring him. You're the one who chose to believe him, and you're the one who didn't walk away after the first hospital stay.
Move on.

The best thing you can do is let it go, find someone else, new interests and friends, and make yourself a happy new life. That's the best revenge of all, and, incidentally, the one that will hurt him the most!
