Depends on your interests. They are always short on nursing. I work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I make good money and I love my job. It is a rewarding experience. I help those become more independent in their everyday skills of living. In my field, you could work in outpatient departments, hospitals, nursing homes, work hardening, hand centers, school systems, etc. I work for a contract company which generally pays more than say a hospital setting. I love the long term acute care setting the best.

I know there are always jobs in mechanics and also in engineering. I don't have the brains for that. Try to see what you are leaning towards and look into those fields. Good luck.

Go for something you will enjoy. And make it somethign that will show employers the skils that you have - something you can sell yourself with in an interview. Somethin that will show you have good time management, good organisation, good analytical skills etc.....stuff that every job needs.

When I was school I was oing science subkects so I decided to do a science degree - Im not gona work in a lab!! but at least I can tell employers that im organised, I can work with computers, I can work as part of a team, Ive got experience im making presentations etc. That way, i get to do what im good at while im at college, and I still dont know wat job im gona do!!

So if you like music - do somethign to do with music......dnt get stuck in somthing you dont enjoy - cus then its just an effort to get out of bed to go to lectures you dont care about.

and i hardly think yahoo answers is the best place to choose your degree!!!

It dont matter, just make sure to go to college!! Most graduates end up with a career they didn't even study for.. Most employers just want to see that you went to and graduated College..
