Being 21 does not mean you automatically pass through some kind of barrier and enter another world.
Ok, I give up! Why are you sad?
Is it maybe something to do with 'being different' from everyone else? Well, sorry, but you are not. you are no different from everyone, you are the same in your uniqueness - as everyone else. You are as uniquely different as are the rest of us ....and liable to the same pressures, joys and so on.
So, why are you sad then?

Everyone is sad at some point in their life. You need to open up a little and find the 'why' will eventually reveal itself.

Either you have really had a crappy life or you think you have had a crappy life. If it is the latter, you can probably develop a better point of view. If it is the former, it will probably continue and you will die sad. You just have to put up with it and go on until that happens.
