A pound is a pound, it does not matter what you are weighing they both way the same. You would have a lot of feathers compared to a few decent sized stones though. That is unless you are dealing with gold.

There both a pound..

But which of these are more a pound of feathers or a pound of gold????

A pound of feathers weighs more than a pound of gold because feathers are weighed by avoirdupois weight, which has 16 ounces to a pound, while gold is always weighed by troy weight which only contains 12 ounces to a pound.
SO a pound is not always a pound...

Neither...a pound is a pound...you'd just have a lot more feathers than rocks...

Neither they weigh the same. The rocks may be denser and the feathers may take up more volume but they weigh the same
