I just had an interview last Friday. It's an internal auditing position for the county. They explained that the 1st interview involves 9 questions, they rate you on your performance based on 100%. Overall I think I did all right. I feel I answered 7 out of the 9 questions smoothly, straight to the point, with examples from past experiences. However, I struggled with the other 2. I was truthful and told them I needed time to think about it. They seemed like they understood stating thats "they know how it feels to be interviewed". The guy (person who asked and answered most of my questions) smiled a lot and nodded in agreement to what I said throughout the interview. The lady was quiet most of the time but I kept eye contact and tried to include her too. I asked questions (ie. what do you want the candidate to focus on in the first 6 months on the job?). I ended by thanking them and stat, I was excited to work for them and looked forward to hearing from them. Feedback? Thanks

One question was, tell me a challenge you had either at school or at work? What steps did you take to overcome it. Well I explained that I've had a lot of challenges in my life and my most recent challenge was going to work full time and taking 4 classes (in college). I told them that it was challenge since I had to prioritize my responsibilities. I had to stay organized and make a daily schedule to keep myself on track. Then I went on to explain it was extremely hard and tiring but in the end it made me a stronger and more responsible person. The other one was, name a time when you had to solve a difficult issue by yourself. What did you do before consulting with your supervisor. I told them that I'd do research and try to learn and do as much as I can before consulting with my supervisor. If that failed I would ask a more experienced co worker to help me so that I can learn i the process and maybe solve the issue on my own before bothering my supervisor. Thanks!

i would have like to know what the 2 question were and how important they were in the interview. all the interviews i have had they have a lot of question that are not important. but there always those one that you know these are the one i need to make a slam dunk with. i have gotten all they jobs i interviewed for. but i knew walking away i had the job by the way i answered the all important question. so were the 2 you had problems with the big ones or the one they ask to just get to know you and how you think?

even as they ask you once you could start up, even as they reply truly for your solutions, even as they ask for a 2d interview, even as they ask in case you could meet with someone who you initially weren't meant to (as an social gathering, I had a job interview with an legal professional, we talked for type of 20 minutes and then she requested if i'd options assembly with her significant different, which for sure I did - I were given presented that job). I regularly in simple terms can tell even as i'm there what they imagine of me. I truly have had about 15 job interviews in my existence and that i knew ninety% of the time earlier I left the interview if i develop into going to get the job, in simple terms from a "gut feeling."
