It was a small corner (about 2X2 in.) and only a smidgen of what he ate had ink on it.

No, its fine. Paper is edible. Kids over that age eat it. No matter what age it will always come out the same end!

Good Luck to you and your baby! x3

RE:
My 9 mo. baby just ate a corner off a piece of paper I printed from my computer. Should I be concerned?

Babies often eat paper and in most cases, it's nothing to worry about. Paper is fiber! :o) I don't think you need to see a doctor unless there was something unusual about the printing on the paper, or if he ingested a large quantity - at that point I'd worry about the ink. Generally speaking though, a little piece or two of paper isn't going to hurt him.

I would not think it would be too much of a concern. Just watch your baby over the next little bit if the baby starts acting funny or different than usual you may want to take him/her to the doctor. Hopefully you are just panicked for nothing and the ink was already dry before the baby got it. When my kids were little my biggest thing was them always stealing the dog food.

Don't worry, your baby will eat a lot worse then that before he learns to eat only what tastes good! I wouldn't be too concerned.

She'll be fine. It was only a small piece and she never choked. These days inks don't have any dangerous chemicals because of such incidents!

This will happen many many time in your childs life.A small piece is okay not that it should happen everyday but trust me they will eat anything they get their little fingers on. I constantly find my 11 month old son trying to eat my two year old daughters crayons paper and all.

Don't worry. Paper is nothing but cellulose, which is plant material----like what makes up celery. Paper's nothing. Don't sweat it.
