Hey all, My son is 3 years old and of course he is going trick or treating. What is a good costume for him. I don't want your typical ones. Give me some cool and different ideas kids can be for Halloween?? There are a lot of cool people in here so I know you all have some good answers.

i would have said power rangers but you want something different.
When my siblings and i were that age we were pumpkins. we were dressed up as pumpkins until we were like 4.
but you can have him be a ghost or something.
I personally think its better if you make it yourself than buy the ones at the store.
o i just thought of one. How about a pirate? it was this year's best theme.

Take black make up and put it around his eyes. Then, take some red make-up and put it around his mouth. Then, see if you can find a head from a local toy store in the Halloween section or, go to a supply store and get yourself a Styrofoam ball, make it look like a human head, take a string and put it through the head and take some cotton and paint it a pinkish color so it is to look like his brains was coming out of it. Take the dirtiest clothes you can find (the ones you were thinking about throwing away) and put some of that red paint on it and say that your child is part of the walking dead. Or, he was the inspiration for, take your pick: 28 Days, Salem's Lot or the little boy from Pet Cemetery.
Explain the head is his "snack" for when he gets hungry.

He could be a magician.
I was looking for a dracula cape for my 3 1/2 yr old, but I didn't want the stand up cape. I had to go for a magician cape which isn't very popular for halloween.

what is his favorite character spiderman,batman,etc; he could be one of thise or you could make him a costume like a dog or cat or maybe a firefighter
