Look for small local companies that can just use a little extra help. Maybe working on a farm... Or doing odd jobs like Data Entry, etc... See if you can find a friend with parents that are local business owners or even have the ability to give you an opportunity. Remember that the first job is the hardest one to find because you dont have any experience or references. Keep you chin and your confidence up and be patient. Youll be just fine!

At your age, if you are able to be legally employed in your state, you will likely be making minimum wage. You would be working part time, and you would have to pay taxes. You are far better off starting your own little business, such as babysitting, mowing lawns, shopping for an elderly person, or something of the like. You can make more money per hour and not pay taxes, which is a win-win for you.

Your 13, and your trying to get a job, you do know that it's against child labor laws for you to have a job that young!! There's working papers that you have to get from your school and you have to be 16 to get them... Sorry, basiclly all that you can do is babysit.

I don't suggest getting a job until you are 14. You will be working for the rest of your life.
But... Fast food is 14 as well as paper routes, grocery stores etc.
Referees for youth sports are your age.
