Your best bet would be looking up farmers markets, street fairs or local transportation hubs in your area. Create a whole slew of pictures and go sell them in person. If it is a fair you may need a permit, but you do not need to declare anything to the IRS if it is under $600 I beleive. Don't hold me to that.

Ebay! doesn't take much to start an account and when you list, list under Art - self representing artist. Your start out bid is what you want for your work. So if you think it is worth $10.00 Start it at $10.00. Or you can start it a $1.00 with a reserve of 10.00. That option is extra but well worth it. If no one reaches your reserve price, you don't have to sell it. Most auctions go for 7 days. Good luck

Accutually a good place to start might be an art show or fair. They will award you a place and usually give prize money. Also some art shows will allow you to list a price. You might thinks your picture is worth ten bucks but someone else might thinks its worth five hindred.

Coffee shops, dude. Most of the time, they are happy to have original art to display and won't take a commission like a gallery.
