you know what me and one of my guys argue who is the greatest rapper alive he always says jay-z so in defense I say Lil Wayne cause everyone knows that even though Weezy idolizes Jay and as hard as he tries to sound like him he sounds better and I, and I said I, don't know many people who would disagree but I've come to the simple fact that there is no greatest rapper and you could check out one of my earlier questions and see why i say this but my Favorite rappers of today is lil wayne with his New Orlean Accented delivery, his way of making words fall together and how he can say he the greatest rapper with no one contesting, Lupe Fiasco, though he's new he doesn't talk about alot of hood things or gangsta as some would say but his style and beats are relaxing and he has good delivery and great usage of words, and my favorite rapper of all time of course is Tupac Shakur he held his own against a company that was alot more deep, by this I mean had more allies, than he was, he managed to prove that everything he rapped about was true, eventually and consequentally, and he was just and all around great rapper

Overall...people love Lil Wayne. Why? There is no real reason why. I Think Wayne is way too cocky. Yes, he can rap. No he is not the best rapper alive. Jay-Z & Nas is way better than him and both of them are alive. T.I. is also better than him. I havent heard of his death yet & it takes more than saying alot of words to be the best rapper. Listen to him. He saids the sam s&&t in every song but in a different way. I want to hear more than how much money Weezy has. Kanye raps about almost any&everything. Now thats one of the best Not Weezy. In the best 5 rappers alive, Wayne is number 5

This is a hard question. I like the sugarhill gang and of course tupac shakur. I like the sugarhill gang because it was easy to learn the words to their lyrics and it was not rap that was associated with violence. I liked tupac because he was very 3 dimensional. I wish he could have lived because I think that he was just scratching the surface for his potential.

umm i dont know about rappers.. but Lil jon HAS GOT TO BE the best producer out there!!! those tricky beats he has can pump people up in a club!!! amazing guy and full of energy.. Lil Scrappy was pretty cool too... ehh.. but still.. Lil Jon = BEST PRODUCER
