a father has to pay child support even if he has no parental right, whether he gives them away or has them taken away.

It all depends on the judge, whether he thinks you make too much money and also the mothers income and resources are low,....can she afford to buy clothes, food and shelter for the child etc......and as we all know women that ask for child support are normally in two situations 1. they want to get back at the father and 2. they dont have enough money to take care of them selves.

yes, he has to pay child support until another man legally adopts his child. If it was that simple (just sign some papers, and goodbye responsablility) then there would be NO child support for most children.

My stepson's biological mother's rights were terminated, and she doesn't have to pay. I've always heard that if rights were terminated they are no longer responsible in any way.
