today the sunsets on a memory of my father, he was a polite and was killed in an airplane crash some years ago. As I drive or sit on a hill and see the purples, grays, oranges and hues of pinks and peach settle into the distance with the clouds turning from bright sliver to dark gray and muddy white, I see his face as he raises his hand an waves, ......"good-bye". a tear comes to my eyes yes, but, he love the sky, the clouds and points only my imagination can take me. With that is a settled calm, of love of knowing for tomorrow is another day, big with blessing, and he is going on experiencing that which I can not. So the sunset, today gives me a moment .....once again with my Dad.

When the sun sets I am reminded of when I lost my virginity.
In the woods, by the railroad tracks at sunset on my birthday.

Oh, I get absorbed in that great spectacle so much, that I am not able to think of anything to be able to get reminded of anything from past memory ! Every time it feels fresh and new like the first mouthful on an hungry stomach, or the first gulp of tasty water on a thirsty throat !

When the sun sets," miraculous twilight".

Three shades of day and evening, which converge into a quiet time of reflection of days events.....things I have done, and things left undone.

It is, the shadows lengthening, that makes you one with nature!
