To put it very simply, the land that the Palestinians were living on was taken from them and given to the Jews to build Israel (1947) The ousted Palestinians were then sent off to camps in Jordan where they were not treated well, nor well received.

Palestine believes that Israel is their land and Israel is fighting them now because of the kidnapped soldier... also years of hatred has built some walls on both sides

they fight because the previous generations that guide the young who are fighting don't let go of prejudice opinions and meet thier nieghbours and live peacefully with them ..accepting thier differences and tolerating the growth of life to a mature age. basically some people live to fight and die and some people live for the purpose of life.. choice is only one option away from making a difference.
