The aboriginal peoples of Australia spoke dozens of different languages.

Apparently they speak more than 3 languages: Guugu Yimithirr, Dyirbal, Gooniyandi, Arabana-Wangkangurru, Yagara and Yugambeh.

At one point there are more than 200 spoken language. Today only half survives.
