the sims 2 serial number?

i am looking at the back of my cd case(the sims 2) i don't see the numbers and letters. i know what it looks but i can't see it. i lost my manuel now what? on the lower left of the backof the cd case it just saids a white box with teen on it and other small words. when you bought the case did you find it on there?

It's on the manual; I think it's at the top of the back cover on it. Your best bet is to take it back to the place you got it, and see if they'll let you exchange your copy for another one.
