That depends upon the homework. Some tasks take longer than others. A book report requires that the book be read first. Some analytical problems take several steps to get to the answer. If asked to find the velocity, you might have to find the speed and distance first. Then you have to find the direction. By the time you get done, you have answered several questions to get to the answer of the first question. Other homework is easy.

it depends on the subject and the homework assignment. for the basic classes (eng, math, hist), i spend about 1-2 hours. for elective classes, i spend less time.
