Cups are American. Are the other measures you require US as well?

In Metric:

1 cup = 250 ml (= approx 8 US and UK fl. oz.) ... strictly 1 US cup = 236.588238 ml.
1 teaspoon = 5 ml (1 US teaspoon = 4.92892161 ml)
1 tablespoon = 15 ml (1 US tablespoon = 14.7867648 ml)

Solids are measured by the gram, cups are fluid measure. I have no idea what a 'stick' of margarine (or butter) is!
(http://www.foodsubs.com/Fatsoils.html says 1 stick [of butter] is 8 tbs and 1lb is 2 cups ... go figure!)

We despair when we get to pints! An American pint is 16 fl oz but an English pint is 20 fl oz (= 568 ml). That is why an Englishman can hold his beer better than an American.
a quart is two pints, where every you are, and a gallon is four quarts. We won't bother with firkins, pins, kilderkins or barrels.

Seriously, if you really need to know, type into Google, for example, '1/3 cup in teaspoons' and it will come straight back at you with "(1/3) US cup = 16 US teaspoons"

(Lazydaisy has something seriously awry ... 1/3 cup = 5tbs + 1tsp, but also 4 tsp??? I think she meant 16, not 4. Go metric ... that way you can always be sure!)

I agree with lazydaisey except for one slight typo 1/3c. = 14 tsp.
