Minus Function on a Casio fx-85ms calculator?

I've just bought a new calculator but can't work out how to use the minus button to convert x into -x. I hope someone can help as I've lost the manual already!

can u see the +/- button?

click it after pressing the #

or u could click the - before pressing the #
