Its not the healthiest of choices but no its not bad and wont harm the unborn baby. There are a lot worse things you could be putting in your system. I would however keep the coffee to a minimin like 1 cup a day in the am and drink water or juice or milk throughout the day. Good Luck!

No, it is not bad to drink coffee in MODERATION when pregnant. You can drink up to 2 cups a day, but check with your doctor. Some doctors say 1 cup is plenty.

It's bad if you drink more than 1 cup (8 oz) a day. You can add some nutrition to your coffee by adding milk, cream, or powdered milk. (Most coffee creamers don't have any calcium).

They say black coffee is ok. 1 cup a day. But I am a coffee lover and I drank my coffee with creamer. And I did stick to one a day. My mom on the other hand drank coffee, still does all day long with sugar and creamer and my sisters and brothers and I came out ok. no ADD no other things.......so it is your descression.

I am no doctor, but I would remember that coffee has caffeine. So do colas. And tea. Just make sure you are keeping an eye on how much stimulant you are pumping into Jr and you should both be ok.

Don't drink caffeinated drinks, it is bad for the child, because caffeine is a drug. I used to drink about 4 MD's a day, and then I tried going cold turkey on it, and GOD!!!! was that horrible. Caffeine withdrawal sucks, so don't make your newborn go through all the headaches.

Honestly, I don't know. Your best option would be to ask your doctor. Caffiene raises blood pressure and constricts blood vessels, so it could constrict blood flow to the baby. Only your doctor would know if it is safe for you to drink coffee, or any other beverage with caffiene in it. Better to be safe than sorry.

I think it's best to really limit the intake. I got myself down to about 3/4 of a cup a day- that was the bare minimum I needed to drag my fat pregnant butt out of bed. And I did it up until I delivered.
