The answer is Bermuda grass. Bermuda grass has roots that go 18 inches deep. The oil may damage the leaves on the surface but it will grow right back. Bahia is second, In NC that's the grass the transportation dept. plants on the side of the road because it is so tuff. FYI - The reason they don't use Bermuda is because Bermuda will crack asphalt and grow right through it.
Centipede is an attractive but delicate grass that is used for lawns but not in high traffic areas because it is so delicate.

None of them are better than the others. The best thing to do is dispose of the contaminated soil and replace it with clean topsoil and reseed the spot.
