yes, you can use cornstarch. 1 tblsp cornstarch stirred into 1 cup water until smooth. You may not want to add all that liquid, start with half and add more if you need to. Keep in mind you will have to stir constantly and return sauce to a boil. If you have already combined all the ingredients just stir until the desired consistency then remove from heat. you can use chicken sause, or beef sause. Use to stir-fry wheat noodles. Add shrimp if desired.
