Well Catherine Zeta-Jones is not hurting for money because she does those mobile phone ads. BTW, Charo does not look too bad for her age.

I think it's more a case that the people have a great sense of humor. The Movie-announcer guy is certainly not out of work nor, I suspect does he need money. And the whole Burt Bacharac thing is completely left-field.
OK, I just figured it out. They chose people that baby-boomers and late boomers will recognize. They're going for the over 40 crowd.

well everybody is pretty old, so yeah, they were probably just in thier living rooms when geico called and said "will you be dorky in our new commercial?" and they jumped at the chnace to do anything.

No. . .because for some reason that movie trailer guy is one those commercials. And, sh*t, he's in 95% of all movie trailers.

no doubt they were paid a bundle, some will do almost anything no matter how dumb it is for the $$$$$$$$$$$.
