depending on age group you might ask if someone had seen a certian movie or a song that had jsut come out.

I like the game I've never. Everyone sits in a circle except one person and that person says, "I've never..." and says something they have never done before. Everyone in the circle that has done that thing has to get up and move to a different spot (it can't be the spot right next to them) then the last one standing has to stay in the middle and say, "I've never..." and then the process repeats. You play until you are too sick of the game to play anymore, or until you run out of time.

Each person cal tell something interesting about themselves. Another icebreaker is for each person to tell something about themselves that others do not know. For example, one of my co-workers is a trained clown. I had no clue about that.
