The easiest answer would be the gay bar of course - but what about other places... let's say at a club or work. How would you know if the guy is gay or not, and how would you figure it out enough to be able to ask him?
For instance, let's say it's a one time thing - you're probably never gonna see him again, but you want to ask him out - just like a straight guy would do if sees a lady at the bar and intends to ask her out. How would you go about that without freaking the guy out?
Just need some help with the experts. I'm totally clueless at asking guys out.

Well, with gay people, the most important thing is to be extremely attractive. That works really well. Also, you should try not to be unattractive, as being unattractive usually makes it very hard to find a gay date.
Some tips on being attractive:
1) Be born very attractive, and continue to be attractive throughout your life as you grow older.
2) Have parents that are also, each, very attractive.
3) Being rich helps a lot, but only if your very rich.
4) Being powerful and/or famous also helps, usually in conjunction with tip number three, and more rarely without it.
5) Undeniable confidence in your own attractiveness, combined with the above points is very helpful in sealing the deal, as it were.
6) Being really smart and/or obviously intelligent is a definite plus, but it really must be considered less important than the above points.

God says the first step is to never be afraid of rejection. If you're in a gay bar or gay club then basically you can hit on anyone that you fancy. If the guy is straight he'll tell you he's straight so don't worry about getting it wrong. Offer to buy him a drink, its as good a start as any, God says you just need to have confidence in yourself most of all.

loose the 'one' rather, and just chill out. damn, you sound uptight. join a gym or hang out in gay populated areas.... make eye contact with men you pass on the street, surely, it cant be held agaisnt you...
But the main thing is to enjoy it...

just talk to random people, at the store or whatnot and i'm sure you will come across someone..this way you don't come on too strong......
