Saturday is too soon for you to learn anything out of any dance lessons. the best thing you can do is slow dance (which is quite simple, you just hug and shuffle left and right).
But after Saturday, if you want to learn how to dance, you can take dance lessons together. Swing dancing and salsa are popular with the couples. Ballroom and Latin are great too, they build great posture, grace and make you look really classy. And since you'll be taking the classes together, you'll have good discounts.
Good luck!

Dancing is completely physical, it is not easily discribed with words. Honestly, I dance however feels right. If your shifts in movement coincide with the beat then you have rhythm, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. Try practicing in front of a mirror, start by tapping your toe, move up to the hips then proceed to however you feel comfortable moving your upper body. I think a lot of the time people worry too much about what other people are thinking when they dance. Just have a good time, that is what it is all about

Slow dance - Put your arms around him and shift your weight back and forth from one foot to the other.
Fast Dance - Jump up and down a lot, bob your head and strut your stuff like you know what you're doing.

Dance the slow dances by just putting your arms around one another (like the other couples do) and sway gently back and forth as he leads you.

Three things:
- practice makes perfect
- dancing is showing off so be shameless
- have fun as you will do it better if you enjoy it
Have a great day.

Just watch the other dancers! And don't forget to have fun. I'm assuming your boyfriend already knows and wont try to make you tango!

slow dancing is easy, more like shuffling around. fast dancing- just don't try anything too crazy, keet it simple, and copy the people around you (assuming they look like they know what they're doing, and it's not complicated). good luck!

Practice practice practice! Whenever you see a couple who dances well together, they have practiced.
