Engine swap.
Basically in a nutshell...buy a 1st generation 4g63 block and a 2nd generation 4g63 cylinder head...put them together and drop it in...or just stick with the 1st gen 4g63.

in many situations maximum autos made out of the late 80's / early ninety's onwards have a velocity governor set around 118-120mph, proscribing all autos with very few exceptions to this suitable velocity. sometimes, the owner's instruction manual will state the reality (my 1991 bmw 318is instruction manual exceptionally tells me the vehicle's suitable velocity is ruled to 118mph, which rather eliminates my urge to purpose it lol... I wish all proprietor's manuals could basically and wisely state this, for genuine awareness is a minimum of a million/2 the delight). jointly as i think this replaced into performed to guarantee in a position police chases, it can not be argued that protection is at stake or perhaps the ruled suitable velocity is far too speedy and a extreme threat to existence and uncomplicated survival. the only exception i comprehend of is the Corvette, maximum or all pre 1990 autos, and particular maximum somewhat extreme variety activities autos such because of the fact the porsche / mercedes / etc in spite of the undeniable fact that it frequently must be a suitable of the line variety for the mfg to contemplate no longer installation the governor, and so this isn't any longer basically a nicely-stored secret (for one few can arise with the money for to be sure) yet additionally not often examined for accuracy.

Replace it with a Mazerrati?
Clean and adjust the fuel system, give it a tune up.
You didn't state the mileage, it may just be worn out.
Repaint it at Maaco starting at $250.
Not that it will look any better in 12 months, but it will for a while.

make it a GS or GS-T. to do this you would probably need to put a new clutch, short-throw gears(those will make your shifts shorter and more meaningful), a new intake system(this includes air filter and intake system), if you can afford a new exhaust system(not just a muffler tip) that would bring up your hp a little bit, make your pulley on the acceleration a tad smaller for faster take of, and if you have the money you can put on a turbocharger.

first of all change the air filter. do the tune up. you may put a turbo which can increase like 20 or 35 horsepower, but they r expensive.
