Hey, just moved into a new townhouse (rent) and they are going to tear down the place in 8 months. So I wanted to experiment with things and wondered which color would be great in my room or match....................I feel really sensitive...........

If u r not too against it gold is a great accent. U don't have to do the metallic color on the wall if its too much but a gold color paint. This would bring out the mahogany and maroon/red. Sounds like a great looking room. Happy painting.

i like a blue and brown colour scheme - so i'd paint the partitions a blue that contrasts with the curtains - even possibly a teal. keep it a medium tone - no longer too dwindled. also if the curtains soak up extremely some the wall area you could upload a strip of the blue colour in textile (glue or stitch) to break it up. lots relies upon on colour of your settee, chairs, too. they could continually get replaced utilizing slip covers.

I think that a really nice strong red like wine red might look nice with mahogany .

gold really looks good with reds and maroon i would just go to paint store and get some swatches and put on comforter and see what i liked good luck
