I have both. The associates degree (business) is almost worthless in the work place. It wasn't until YEARS later when I got a bachelors that I got a raise FOR DOING THE SAME JOB I WAS DOING WITH THE ASSOCIATES.

Could depend what you get the associates in. If you get it in a trade-type job (i.e. auto mechanics) then it would be very valuable in the work place.
