If you wish to be unique, and you know you stand out, you must expect adverse reactions from some emotionally unstable people. Don't worry about it be who you are, it gets better as you get older. Stay true.

welcome to the lovely paradox called life!
she is jealous because you are unique and different
don't ever let her get you down because it is not a good thing
next time she says something SMART just ignore her or play it off like you don't give a rats you know what about what she thinks
don't think of what she will say when you do your hair or when you get dressed ...
you do what you want and only worry about yourself
she is simply jealous and that is all there is to it.... probably because you are so dang adorable that she feels that you could be friends with whoever you wanted or have any boyfriend that you want therefore she feels threatened so she is threatening you...
don't compete with her or try and prove that you are anything... you have nothing to prove... just go to sixth grade, enjoy yourself the best you can, wear your vintage clothing, and do your hair up however you want sweetie... if she has a problem just let it eat at her don't let her pass it on to you OKAY?

Because they don't understand that being unique is something that should be applauded! Don't let them get to you! Just keep being yourself and KNOW that they just aren't as mature as you and someday....you'll be able to look back and see just how ignorant that the people who make fun of you were... You don't need their approval, even tho it feels that way! Trust me, I got made fun of because I had big boobs in the sixth grade... And as an adult, it certainly isn't that way anymore! So, it's more important that you keep being you. They are probably jealous that they don't have the nerve to actually show who they are and what they like! So, once again, KEEP BEING YOU!! I'm proud of you! :)

Sweetie some people do not feel good about themselves unless they are making someone else feel bad. These people usually have very unfullfilled lives . I too was unique in school ( carried a guitar practiced with my band between classes ) A lot of those people are good friends now and have very fond memories of my voice cracking asI went through a late puberty. Trust me you sound like a very nice intelligent girl dont let thebull**** get you down.

You don't need to worry about it. You are mature enough to understand that you are unique. Most girls don't want to be unique at your age. They want to be one of the herd. They dress like everyone else and follow all the popular kids so they don't stand out in a crowd.
You already have your own flair for clothing. Keep on doing your own things and don't fall into the trap of the herd mentality. It is wonderful that you are mature enough to know what you like.

baby girl, part of being unique is to stand out from the crowd. and the risk is not being part of the norm and 10 out of 10 you'll be the one who they'll pick on. that's just how people is baby girl. people will always find some group that the can pick on, that's just human nature. ignore those with small mind. be who you are don't worry about what other thinks about you. i'm glad to hear that you're trying to be different. good for you.

Some people look for reasons to make of fun of people because to them it is fun to pick on others.
You just hang in there baby girl. You sound like a really interesting person. Sometimes people are jerks. It's just a fact. The why doesn't matter. You just be proud of who you are. We would be a pretty boring bunch if we were all the same. Just don't let it make you bitter.

She's jealous because she'll never be special or different. She'll be the same as everyone else and blend into the crowd. It doesn't matter if she can have any guy, they'll never love her or thing she's amazing because she's just the same as the popular girl at the next school. Be proud of who you are. You're an individual.

I had the same problem, I looked different and did different things,
and people would always make fun of me. My advice to you:find people who like you and make friends with them. Ignore everyone remarks and if you ask them to leave you alone and they keep bothering you tell a parent/guardian to help you.
My last piece of advice: Just be yourself. don't do anything Violante to hurt other people and don't get into fights and talk to a councilor. I did all of those tings and it took a little while but it helped me out.

Hey, I am with you. I think you sound great. I love the beautiful red color of hair (wish I had it) and vintage clothes are cool. It sounds like you have self confidence and style. Some girls are intimidated by that because they only feel safe if they look like everybody else and act like they have an IQ of 0.001. So please don't let them get you down. They harass you because they are afraid of you. You threaten them because you are more mature and creative. Just be you and people like me will be admiring you.
