I know it's been said before but you should really wait a little bit longer. My wife and I was so excited when she was late for 5 days that we had a test done but it said negative. We waited for a couple more days and we got the result that we wanted! Now we have an 20 month old toddler! We know have someone calling us mummy and daddy.

Theres an early testing kit available which can show if you're pregnant before your period is due. You're hormone levels won't alter for the first 2 to 3 weeks (on average) so a normal kit won't recognise it. Some people don't get any symptoms at all, my friend has just found out she's 5 1/2 months gone, hardly got a bump at all. Good luck xx

I just experienced this same thing myself. I was 6 days late on 9/28 and took a hpt that came up negative. My doctor called me in for a blood test on the same day that also came up negative. I am now 12 days late and don't have a clue what's going on. But you should definitely get a blood test done just to be on the safe side.

Well like you said maybe wait about 3 or 4 more days,it could be something eles though ,I havent had my period in 9 weeks and blood test confirmed Im not pregnant, It could be hormonal, stress, just about anything, so if you havent started by next week take another test and if its still negative get an appointment set up with your doctor. good luck!!

I had the same thing happen to me. I ended up taking 4 tests. I drove myself crazy, only to get my period on the 8th day after it was due. My ob/gyn said the stress of trying to concieve was probably screwing up my cycle. I had to learn not to pay as much attention to when I was due for my period, get myself involved in other things around that time. Like my Dr. told me, it is either going to happen, or not, and worrying isn't going to help at all.

are u taking ur first urine sample in the morning?
You can carry on testing if you want to waste your money!
If i was you make an appointment at the dr.s and get a test there by the time ur appointment comes round you will either have had your period or u will not. IF not it looks promising for u
good luck

If you followed the directions and waited until your period should have started, you're probably not pregnant. I'd wait a bit longer and see if your period starts. Sometimes just the stress over am I or not can cause you to be late.

I had the exact thing happen to me. Test came back negative but when I did another test a few days later it came back positive.
I'd double check in a couple of days if I were you.
Good luck,
