I've done something I shouldn't of , how to kill the quilt that's eating me from inside out, not every day, but sometimes

You can't just stuff it to the back of your head forever. That "eating you from inside out" thing could be literal - the constant stress can lead to ulcers and other health concerns. If it bothers you this much, you need to pull it up, look it over, and decide what you can do to fix it. Is it something you can make reparations for? Can you talk to the people you hurt because of your actions? Don't expect forgiveness from them, because only they have the right to that decision. If you can't talk to those you hurt, then talk to someone else. If you're religious, talk to your priest/pastor/rabbi/etc. They can help you put it in perspective.

If there's no one available to talk to (I don't mean it's hard to talk to someone, I mean there's NO ONE AVAILABLE), write a letter explaining and apologizing. You don't have to send it to anyone, just write it sincerely and with careful thought. Put some effort into it. Make a commitment to 'give back' in some way - volunteer work, an anonymous donation, 10 random acts of kindness, whatever. Complete the task you've set for yourself, then ceremoniously destroy the letter, consciously giving up the guilt with it.

The important thing is to take responsibility for your actions. Telling yourself that it's no big deal is not only unhealthy, it's irresponsible and leads to bigger and badder things. By bringing your actions out into the open and facing it, you'll alleviate a lot of the guilt you're feeling.

Give yourself some slack. You know you've done wrong. You don't need to confess to someone just to have them tell you that. Start on the upswing. How can you make the situation better? You know you've already learned your lesson, so there's no point in feeling awful. Try to do something good for someone. That makes a lot of people feel better.

I just relax and breath deeply for a few seconds, and then it usually goes away, but I know that some day it's all gonna add up, and get me all at once.

Forgive yourself. No one is perfect and we all do things we shouldn't.
