Yes, and another republican just resigned over Jail Bait Gate.
In resigning Wednesday, Kirk Fordham, chief of staff to Rep. Thomas Reynolds, R-N.Y., told The Associated Press that when he learned of Foley's inappropriate behavior toward pages, he had "more than one conversation with senior staff at the highest level of the House of Representatives asking them to intervene." Fordham became the first casualty in the dispute over Hastert's handling of the Foley affair. Fordham said the conversations took place long before the scandal broke, and at least two years earlier than members of the House GOP leadership have acknowledged.

Everyone, every Democrat and every Republican, who knew about this and chose to wait to reveal it should resign. Every editor and reporter who chose not to report it until the last day of congress in order to influence the election should be fired.
Legislators talk about needing to protect children. Now the Democrats need to put up or shut up. If Hastert knew he should resign, not just as speaker but from congress. But the same goes for EVERY member of Congress who knew about this but chose to play politics instead of show concern for the well being of the minor should resign.
The FBI should investigate and if any adult sat on the information instead of reporting it to law enforcement agencies should be charged with endangering the wellfare of a minor.

without problems NO! what's the factor to getting a political communicate board, or for that rely the different form of communicate board, if concerns can not be suggested (dare I say argued) in an grownup vogue. I had a posting pulled because of the fact I used the word 'penis' - my penis replaced into no longer being pulled, you already know, however the question replaced into.- i replaced into informed that it replaced into no longer Yahoo! that objected, yet somebody who had 'raised' an objection to my question! vast Brother or Little Sister? Now which you pose the question of censorship; why does not Yahoo supply an grownup-basically internet site? Any inane questions alongside with: "What could I gown my dolly in this night" could right this moment bring about a suspension. This, in turn, could enable such little ones to 'think of' for themselves, somewhat of dropping all of us else's time! My blood stress is transforming into now - I had better sign off!

Hell no! It is helping the Democratic party more by him staying in office and lying about not knowing than him resigning.

No.
Other legislators (including Democrats) and the major news media have been aware of the problem for several months. But nobody seems to have cared about it until this week.

If it can be shown that he had viable information about Foley and did not act on it, then my answer is yes.
