how do you do this?(not looken for answers)but please list all the steps of you do this HINT-simplify expressions-(x+2)-(x02)-12x

-(x+2)-(x-2)-12x

first you want to distribute or multiply the "-" into the parenthesis, think of it as a "-1": remember (-*- = +, -*+ = -)
-x-2-x+2-12x

now combine like terms, you can re-arrange them first to get a better idea:
-x-x-12x-2+2

the twos cancell out and you are left with:
-14x
