People in general are cruel to one another. The only way to have fun to them is to make fun of someone. I hate that. Why can't someone be different.why can't someone be themselves without being made fun of? I hate society because of how they judge people

"I think... therefore, I'm single" by Lizz Winstead.

All statements above prove to be rather sexist, lol=P
But more than that, it shows that double standards pretty much exists.
It's even more desirable for a man to be single at ANY age.
Whereas a woman is considered wa... ayy over her "expiry" date when she reaches 30 or however it applies.
For a man to be strong, it's a commendable & admired trait.
For a woman to be strong, it's because she's a diva or a *****, so which way you look at it, we can never win or be equals.

Two quotes that have similar meanings actually. I do like both these quotes for the reason that more women these days demand to be treated human.

I do not believe they're man-haters as some say they are, only that they wish to be treated human.

In the past, even a few decades ago, women were beaten, some even killed for "speaking their minds". It was very oppressive, that many were depressed. Therapists, family members, friends, didn't know how to handle it. They just assumed they were crazy for wanting more than was "permitted" to them.

Women were expected to be nothing more than baby machines, house keepers, accountants, nannys, chauffuers, sounding boards, day planners, and much more, for her own homelife. They weren't even allowed to seek more education. Many universities didn't let women in after a couple of years, which is all she needed to get her M.R.S., after that she was to work on her P.H.T. (Pushing husband through) the rest of his education, success, etc.

These days, those quotes i chose, women who seek their own success are more likely to succeed if she has an understanding, supportive husband/partner.

Her choices should be hers, even if she chooses to be a stay-at-home mom/wife. Her choices should not be dominated by her husband/partner.

"...There are times when we have to turn away from things that hold us back, and nothing holds us back like someone who invalidates who we are and what we're capable of. A young man is often brought up to think that he will one day find the right woman to support his vision and greatness. Many young girls are brought up to think that we will one day find a man whose vision and greatness are worthy of our support.

We must relinquish the paradigm of men as power with women as support and instead embrace the image of both men and women as powers, with each supporting the other. Any man who holds a woman back is not a man a woman can afford to be with. A woman has a mighty and sacred task to perform on earth. She will not be able to fulfill her function if she remains with a man who derides her glory..." by Marianne Williamson from the book A Woman's Worth

All the other quotes seem like man-hating comments. This one seems to sum the feminist movement's current agenda. Trying to persuade women against their natural maternal instincts.

PS. Wow, all these quotes reminded me why I HATED 'women's studies' in college!
