Can you watch preseason games on NBA League Pass?

I ordered by "early bird" discount a month before the season starts. I was told it comes with NBATV. But when I turn to the channels, nothing's on there. Someone said the program starts on Oct. 30, which is the day regular season starts. Does that mean I won't be able to see presea games?

They show some preseason games on NBATV, but not on the league pass channels.
