This is a question lot of people don't even think about because the common knowledge is that they don't. But believe it or not, gay behaviour is perfectly natural which is proved by its presence in animals too. Here's a link for you.

I don't remember off the top of my head any animals that exhibit purely homosexual behavior, but I do know that many species of ape are bisexual, though they often lean towards relationships with the opposite sex. However, IIRC Bonobos are just as likely to have male mates as they are female ones.

Sometimes what we think is homosexual behavior in a species, is actually one animal asserting dominance over another. If you house female mice together, it will look like one female is "humping" another. But she is just trying to be the top female in the cage. This has also been documented in rats if one new female tries to mate with another female's male. Something to think about.

Seagull mobs are almost always all female. Most breeding behavior witnessed is also female on female. If you see a lone seagull, it it generally that bird that is male. He will visit a mob only for breeding purposes as the females will attack him if he stays too long

I know it has been documented in bird populations and sheep. I am sure there are other animals that have homosexual populations as well (humans are not alone in this!)
