2. I believe it was in terms of better lawmaking and such to make them seem "enlightened." Bear in mind that "enlightened despot" may come as being oxymoronic.

4. The reason why the 3rd estate was unhappy was because their monarchs spent wads of money on luxuries such as palaces and lavish clothing. They were also ticked because there was no universal male suffrage and that nobles were one of the few people who were not allowed to be taxed; everyone else had to pay up.

5. The Bastille was a symbol of the old regime.

6. Freedom of speech, separation of church and state (actually, some sought to abolish the church altogether).

7. The reign of terror was Maximillien Robspierre's "brainchild." He tried to purge anyone associated with the royalty out of France by beheading them with the guillotine. It came to an end when, probably through some act of "karma," Robspierre himself was guillotined.

Yes, I know something about history, a lot about the enlightment, why the Articles of Confederation did not work, and the History of France.

The question then arises as to why I should answer you questions and allow you to make it through the course without reading your texts.

In order for me to answer questions like this, they have to be presented in a non-threatening manner and in proper English.

This particular line has a problem:

"4.OK now it take some knowlege to answer this one.

I can answer all of that without difficulty, but I suggest first that ou read the HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION, 12 volumes, by Will and Ariel Durant. The volumes are only 700 pages or so each.

this is basically so strange that as we communicate i replaced into questioning approximately this exact same ingredient when I examine an editorial on CNN. My basically answer for you is "people won't stay with some thing if it does not paintings". people does not stay with a God who does not meet desires, replace lives and answer prayers. i'm no longer asserting all of us is to be stupid and supply away all their money to the church. As all of us comprehend, no longer all of us in management roles could be depended on and that is going for all agencies, no longer basically the church. i've got faith in Tithes and possibilities so as that's what i'm obligated to offer. the rest is to my discretion. i will testify like maximum of others, how God and church has replaced my existence for the better. So i will say to each their own. If it does not paintings for then you definately flow away it.
