it sounds like you have some sciatica going on. Those are the nerve endings in back. Often they can shoot down beginning from your spine to your hips and butt.

often a massage or chiropractor can ease the pressing of the nerve affecting you.

I am sorry to tell you this but you may be the unfortunate victim of Sciatic pain. The pressure from your growing baby in addition to the shifting/loosening of your pelvis is putting pressure on your Sciatic nerve. It is being irritated and by the time your pregnancy is over it could be a permanant problem. My daughter is 2 years old and I would get pain so bad that I had to lay down for hours. The best advise I received was to stretch and stay loose.
Laying on your left side with a pillow between your knees should releive some of the pain. Swimming at the gym really seemed to help and massage if you are fortunate enough to have someone handy.
In 50% of cases (according to my OB) this problem persists after pregnancy. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are part of the other half!

Nope it won't go away and its completely normal its the baby messing with your sciatic nerve it will last and it sucks try laying on your left side with a pillow between your legs and your right let bent up to your chest a lil. It seemed to help me. Good luck!

of course it will go away but you should get it checked out for sure.it could be the disc in your back or just a pulled muscle. chances of something serious are slim but dont risk it.
