Please! You Americans are such idiots!

What difference does it make if a paedophile or other sexual criminal is a Democrat or Republican? Get them out of office & into treatement!

Why should a citizen only be concerned about the ethics & morals of one party? The idea is very childish & foolish.

Why do all the Americans on Yahoo constantly bash each other? You need to come together because believe me you have a diminishing amount of friends beyond your borders. The few you have left have to scratch their heads when they read posts like this one.

I can't really speak for the Dems, but I can't follow your logic. Reynolds was convicted of relations with one of his own compaign volunteers. He was the one ultimately responsible for his campaign and he stepped down.

Hastert's problem is that he IS responsible for the Congressional page program. He is the owner and operator of the political sleep-away camp to which parents entrust their children. If he fails to police the camp counselors (regardless of party affiliation) in a basic reasonable way, then, yeah, he's just begging for liability.

stop trolling for somebody else to blame, for the predatory actions of a Republican Congressman,, the welfare of the high school page boys are obviously not your concern either,, the FBI just opened an investigation into the Foley sexual exploitation of 15-16 year old boys, although Gonzales, Department of Justice, was told months ago,, the Bush administration have been covering this up,,,
good god do you or your party have no decency

Responding to "g" as to "so how is that not policing the party?"

It's not policing your party when Mel Reynolds is pardoned by a democrat (Bill Clinton) and then hired by another Democrat (Jesse Jackson).

"The prescription drug advantages software replaced into yet another occasion of Republican confrontation that replaced into exceeded by using a Democratic controlled congress." Um, no. It replaced right into a Republican-controlled congress. The Dubai Ports deal replaced into somewhat no longer so significant that i could evaluate it info of Republicans questioning Bush's rules.

Cause it serves their purpose when all you have to remember is how screwed up your party is then what would they need a long term memory for.

Seemingly there is plenty of blame to go around for all parties. Pointing fingers does not help illuminate or rectify the problems.

Apparently you are so desperate at this point, you have
to draw from something that happened 17 years ago.

It's the people that are trying to rule my life today that give
me worry.

uh... he went to jail for like 5 years... and resigned his seat...

so how is that not policing the party?

We're just trying to hold Republicans to the VERY HIGH standards they set for themselves... you can't preach morals as a major issue for 6 years in every campaign and then expect everyone to say "eh, it's no big deal" when someone horribly violates the morals...
