mix and match for a cool first and middle name.
and its best not to name your children something from the top 50 list because then people at school will end up calling them Emma B. or Jacob F. (not that they are bad names. they are quite nice in fact)
and for twins, don't make their initials the same. also don't make the names sound similar.
congrats! let me know what you name your twins!

Book called 75,000+ Baby names for the 21st century by Lori Cooper.
Call the children whatever you and your partner decide. Make a list of the top 10 names you like and see if you have any in common that's one way of making it easier but don't stress over it. I did with my 2nd born and in the end i thought let the worry go. A few days before my due date my partner and i had made a list of 5 names we liked and had a couple of the same names come up.
Sarah (Hebrew meaning Princess) Jane (Hebrew meaning God is gracious) / Sara Jane & Ellie (Norse meaning old soul) Anne (Hebrew meaning graceful) for girl and Zenon (no middle name) for a boy (Greek meaning "given life by Zeus"). My partners middle name is Zenon and I fell in love with it as a son's name. We had a girl called Elleigh Ann. Good Luck.

It's a girl and a boy??? i'm hoping this means that you are having twins. In either case I would think that you would want to name your child after yourself or your husband or a dear family member. More details would have made answering this question easier. But Jaime, Stacey, Tracey and Lee are a few names that can go either way.

I have twins. They are two girls. My personal opinion is that I truly dislike cutesey-matchy type names for twins, no matter the gender. You want your kids to have their own personal identities. Naming them matchy type names will make them seem part of a "set" instead of two individual people. I suggest just picking your favorite boy and girl name and not making them match, rhyme, or start with the same letter.

hope this means twins....I like Joseph Haze for boy and Emma Grace for girl. If it's twins, names don't have to rhyme, but the middle names that are above sorta rhyme. What ever you like is what you should name your kids. Mine are named Harley Noel (girl), Rikki Anne (girl), and Hayden Chase (boy). I had people tell me to name the oldest girl August Tuesday...didn't happen.

You don't want to tell your kids one day when they ask why you named them what you did "oh, someone on yahoo told me" Think of something that is meaningful to you or your husband. A place you were born, something you love, a person you admire. My husband and I did this with our daughter, named her after a mountain I grew up by, I have great pride in her name. Just find things you like and that sound like good names, your children will be glad to know you put so much thought and care and PRIDE into what you named them. Goodluck!

sonny and cher...lol...j/k but i dont like similar names like Victor and Victoria. I would do something like Justin and Rachel. It's bad enough they'll have the same birthday. trust me when they are in their tweens and over rhyming or similar names will be annoying
