I sleep lying down, strapped to the bed, with a special pulley system attached to my eyelids, to make the curtains open when my eyes close (woo hoo! # 40...lol)

Not particularly sure.
Sometimes i stand against the wall and just doze off.
I try not to be like Mr. Bean in Rat Race who slept no matter what position he was in.
But it's hard breaking the old habits.
In complete truth though, i sleep on my stomach. I can't stand sleeping on my sides or back. Annoys the hell out of me.

Last time I slept standing up my little brother decided to go human tipping, and I hit my head on the wall. So to prevent further injuries I've stuck with laying down.
