Best thing to do is go to a web site that specializes in computer memory. They usually have a memory configurator where you enter your specific computer info and they'll tell you what kind of memory you need (DDR, DDR2, SDRAM, etc.), the maximum amount your computer can support, and whether you can buy single sticks or if you have to buy them in pairs. Once you have that info, you can shop around for best prices. I've used Kahlon before and they've got a good FAQ section if you need to learn some basics about memory. They've got some low prices, too. As does Chief Value. Hope this helps.

Depends on your motherboard. You can use one of those tools the other guy said, or you can email me your model number and I can help you out.

you may buy 512MB, but better is that you may install equal capacity type memory modules
