dispute the information with all three credit bureaus...
it may take some time... and there are services out there that can help you do it...call your credit card companies and ask what they have to offer credit-monitoring wise. It can help out a great deal.
Or you can write the letters yourself, or try to fax them in. The websites for Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian have the information you need.
Good luck!

You can't remove anything from the credit report. Credit records do expire (used to be after 7 years, I don't know what the length of time is now).

The first step is to make sure you are not tied to her in any form on any documents. Make sure all your credit cards have either been inactivated or that she has been removed from them. Make sure that any property titles are only in your name and don't have her on them. And, make sure any loans and all utilities have had her removed from them. After that is done then if she shows up on your credit report you should call the company producing the report and let them know.

You have to close all lines of credit with your name on them which are connected to her in any way, and pay off all the balances to zero. Open your own credit card account and keep the balances low by paying it off every month and keep your bills paid.
